House on the Rock Attraction Maintenance Manager

Job Description

This position provides routine maintenance personally by working with others to care for the grounds, buildings and systems of this amazing, world-class Attraction.

This position reports to the Director of Operations and works closely with the Operations Team. This is a hands-on working manager position who performs and coordinates routine, preventative maintenance and upkeep, janitorial duties and repairs and projects by coordinating with other Attraction Maintenance associates and outside service providers.

Responds to repair requests. Troubleshoots and fixes or coordinates repairs with other Maintenance Associates. When needed, coordinates with Operations Director to contract repairs, maintenance and projects to outside vendors and technicians.  Coordinate’s scheduling and training of Maintenance Team positions. Is responsible for safety management, inventory management and record keeping aspects of the department.

General knowledge of grounds, building and plumbing repairs, familiarity with HVAC system upkeep and maintenance required. Must have good driving record. This is an exempt position working 52 weeks/year. Position requires a great deal of lifting, walking, climbing, bending and kneeling.  Must have safety-mindset and a respect for the Guest experience.
