Visitor Information

From April 8th through late May, State Road 23 just north of The House on the Rock is closed and traffic is detoured.

If you are coming from Spring Green, the road is open through Spring Green and detoured after you cross the river. There will be signs directing you to The House on the Rock. For a more detailed description click on directions from Spring Green.

If you are coming from Dodgeville, the road is open to The House on the Rock. For a more detailed description click on directions from Dodgeville.

You can choose between a variety of self-guided sections to experience the amazing House on the Rock Attraction. Please see more details at our Admission Rates and Dates page.

Helpful Information

Tokens can be used in music machines or redeemed in the gift shops or food outlets at the Attraction. Tokens are not redeemable for cash.

We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard and Discover – checks and Traveler's Checks are not accepted.

Gift Certificates are available by phone or in any of our House on the Rock gift shops.

Last ticket sale and last admission is one hour before closing time.

Free Parking.

Please no carry in food or beverage. A picnic area is available near the camper parking lot.

The House on the Rock is a non-smoking facility (including e cigarettes) except in designated outside areas.

The House on the Rock is a walking experience that encompasses many ramps, varied surfaces and outdoor areas. Please wear appropriate shoes and clothing for these conditions.

Guests that are affected by claustrophobia and acrophobia may find a few areas difficult. Team Members are available to assist you with alternate routes.

Due to architectural design, a small portion of the tour is not accessible by wheelchair. Some of the ramps in other parts of the tour may be difficult to maneuver. Wheelchairs are not available for rent or use through The House on the Rock
