The Alex Jordan 98th Birthday Package - $149 for two

Alex Jordan was born on March 3, 1914. To clebrate the 98th anniversary of his birth, we are offering a special package on March 3, 2012.

The Alex Jordan 98th Birthday Package includes:

  • One night's accommodations for two in a two-room suite at the House on the Rock Resort
  • Two adult Special 4:00 p.m. Winter Guided Experience Tour tickets at The House on the Rock
  • Two Adult tickets to 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Wine and Cheese Reception, Presentation and Q&A with Tom Kupsh.

    Tom Kupsh worked with Alex Jordan and offers unique insights into Jordan's work. Tom was Alex Jordan's sculptor in the 1970s and 80s, the Creative Director of The House on the Rock in the 90s and is currently the Creative Consultant. He is the author of A Mythic Obsession: The World of Dr. Evermor.

Driftless Film Festival - November 1-4, 2012

    Southwestern Wisconsin will be hosting the Driftless Film Festival November 1-4, 2012. The idea for this film festival is to showcase the communities in the Driftless area, the talented film makers and historic theaters this area has produced. Past Events

    The House on the Rock held a special celebration for fans of American Gods. On October 29 and 30, 2010, Neil Gaiman and his American Gods fans gathered for literary panels, talks, presentations, a limited number of chances to ride the World's Largest Carousel, and a costume party focused on all things American Gods.
